I've just finished watching the video from Vice News about the Islamic State and I've wondered - after seeing several 'interviews' of kids - how "we" (I mean the people that had to deal with it, for example the Allies in post Nazi Germany, or the governments in post East Bloc nations) handled the deluded kids that grew up under propaganda and how much "we" succeeded with that. Since the rules are against generalised questions I would like to focus on Germany here since that seems to be one of the "biggest" examples where an entire generation grew up in such a strictly controlled and influenced environment. If you know other "big" examples feel free to inform me about them.

For those who are unsure what I'm talking about here are two of the scenes (11:05-14:13) and (33:12-34:22), any proper documentary on the various Nazi institutes for kids should pretty much show the same. Please excuse my poor English skills.
