I'm trying to find cases that William P Van Ness handled before he was Burr's second in the Hamilton-Burr duel in 1804. I know he practiced starting in 1800, but other than People v Croswell I haven't been able to find anything else. Any ideas?
Have you tried New York Reports-the state appellate and supreme court reports, the early volumes? Have you checked Google Scholar?
