I am a high schooler, and my history teacher suggested that it would be fun if the students dressed up as a historical figure for Halloween. I was thinking of repurposing a dress I had used for cosplay, but I'm not sure which historical eras/figures it aligns to.

Actual fashion historians might be able to pinpoint the century (or even decade) better than I, but my first thought upon seeing your picture was to say 11th or 12th century due to the shape of the sleeves and the fact that the body of the gown itself isn't as fitted as kirtles became in the later middle ages.
As for specific historical figures from this period, here's a short list of 11th- and 12th-century ladies that came to mind. I'm unfortunately most familiar with medieval 'Britain' and France so might have completely missed some possibly badass women from other parts of Europe that others might be able to suggest instead!
