I work at a vintage clothing store and I found these in the inside pocket of an old suit jacket (the jacket had no tags or labels and I have no way of finding the original owner, unfortunately). I asked my boss where he got the jacket, but he says he can't remember if it's from a thrift store or an estate sale. The stitching looks a bit modern to me, so I'm not sure if they're authentic or not. I can't really imagine why someone would make a fake patch, though, unless it was a prop for a play or movie. I googled Star of David patches, but it seems like there were a lot of different styles or designs, so that didn't really help me. Also, if they ARE authentic, what should I do with them? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but I don't think these are authentic.
First, the cut - way too cleanly. It was rather uncommon to have so cleanly cut patches. Next, the cloth is of a type that wasn't available at that time. What you have there looks like patch cloth used for embroidery machines (e.g. to make patches; not to confuse with cloth for lace-making).
The stitch is called 'zigzag' and IIRC this wasn't possible until there were electric sewing machines.
Also, the cloth looks too 'new'. It has no stains, no dirt, no nothing on it. And the writing looks extremely like a modern marker.
