I'm currently reading The Masters of Rome series by Colleen McCullough, Historical fiction about Late Republic. Can anyone tell me how accurate the facts are (dates, battles, chronology, etc.)? Were Marius and Sulla portrayed accurately?
Can you give those of us who have not read the novels a summary of the depiction of Marius and Sulla? Especially since, as I understand it, the major characters tend to feature across multiple volumes.
