Are there any leftover laws or governmental customs in current day Britain that can be traced to when Ceretic was king of Wessex?

I read some where that Ceretic (or Cedric) was the first King of Wessex, ruling from 519 - 534. Are there any laws, doctrines, treaties, or anything else still in use in the U.K (or Britain) to day that can be traced back to when Cedric was king?

Forgive me if I asked this question incorrectly, I just reread it and it seems to be oddly worded.
