This was terrific, one of my favorite episodes! (Maybe my favorite overall, on par with the excellent Cortez/Aztecs two-parter.)
Could we get some recommendations for further reading on the "golden age of alchemy"? Or just alchemy throughout history?
I'm a bit late but, on top of the excellent podcast, I wanted to say thanks for the other podcast recommendations. I'm listening to the Bohemican right now, and more history to listen to is always welcome!
