If you're asking about Catholicism, the concept of infallibility (specifically papal infallibility) is limited to matters of faith and morals, and did not apply to geocentrism. Also, it was only defined as a dogma in 1870--well after the debate over geocentrism was resolved. Papal infallibility has been asserted very few times (twice in the past two centuries). Pontiffs can have opinions that are incorrect, as the idea of papal infallibility does not cover ever utterance by a pope. Famously John XXIII called Cardinal Gibbons "Jibbons"--and that was not an infallible declaration--and also said "I am only infallible if I speak infallibly but I shall never do that, so I am not infallible."
