I am looking for any good sources on theories of hybridity, transculturation, and indigenization - especially readings that are seminal, that are new and game-changing, or that offer definitions of the differences between these terms.
This is for an article on Indigenous adaptations/adoptions of European material culture, so it's influenced by history and postcolonial studies.

Looking through your posting history, I feel like you may be in a good position to ask Coll Thrush this question over email or in real life. I'm a big fan of his article "Vancouver the Cannibal," which you probably already know -- but he should have a very good sense of where to look for sources for this.
Richard White's The Middle Ground is very much a seminal work on understanding relationships between Native American and white colonist in North America, might be worth a go?
