I came across this fictional scenario and the thought occurred to me, what sort of chemical warfare measures were actually in place, or perhaps were planned for/prototyped/whatever for that eventuality?
I thought to dig up some reenactors, but I think this is a bit beyond that level.
This is what I've found, and it's just what a typical grunt carried regularly, not anything special, and is geared towards mustard gas.
