The Sovereign Citizen movement has some radical historical theories. Are there any academic treatments of their theories?

For example, I've been told that in the War of 1812, the US adopted a "secret 13th Amendment," which corporatized the government and subjected the citizenry to a form of servitude. Also, that lawyers in the US are servants of the Crown of England due to an obscure writ from the 18th C. I know it sounds like conspiracy stuff, but does anyone know of any scholarly treatment of these sorts of theories?

Could you perhaps provide some more of these claims, or link to some places where they might be found?
