Need books on Chinese and Korean Influence on Heian Japan

by HeyanJapan

I really only need one book, preferable an E book or a set of websites, that shows the influence of Chinese and Korean cultures and Heian. Thank you for your time

It's difficult to give you one book that covers both China and Korea, and more so because the influences are fairly widespread and people tend to focus more in academic texts.

That said, a good place to start is Heian Japan: Centers and Peripheries. It's a collection of articles/essays on different topics. Chapter 5 is The Way of the Literati: Chinese Learning and Literary Practice in Mid-Heian Japan by Ivo Smits and as the title says deals with literary traditions. Other topics are addressed elsewhere in the text as well.

You might also want to look at A Brief History of Chinese and Japanese Civilizations by Conrad Schirokauer, which is available on Google Books.

Your initial request is quite broad (huge, really), so if you can narrow it down a little more, or give some more information on what you're needing the info for, then I can probably help you find things that are a little more specific.
