On any topic and all topic. Economic. Politic. Social. Warfare. Great-man History. Everyday life of average people. Thebes. Athens. Sparta. Any city state or confederacy (Thessaly? Arcadia? Achaea? Delian? Peloponnesian?). Relation with Persia?

Well, Buckler is Mr Theban Hegemony, so that's a good start.

For social history, most books that have "classical" in the title will cover the relevant period, e.g. Hodkinson's Property and Wealth in Classical Sparta (2000), or Hunter and Edmondson (eds.), Law and Social Status in Classical Athens (2001). The only snag is that anything that touches on political life (other than forensic) in Athens will tend to be weighted towards the fifth century BCE.
