There are two black and white pictures hanging in The Lafayette Hotel in Buffalo, NY that none of us can identify. It's not really important we're just curious to know who they are to have their pictures on the wall.

The original pictures taken are at an off angle from below and to the side so I tried to clean them up and change the perspective in photoshop, can provide the originals if requested though.

I believe one of them is Carl Von Linde, a German Scientist who invented a refrigeration process, but would like a second opinion on the matter. The other image I have no idea.
