Are you asking when these groups came to be considered Christian? Considering the Catholic Church was the original Christian church, I rather think they've been in the umbrella all along. Certainly various Protestant groups have been heavily critical of the Catholic Church, but to think of them as not Christian would be a wee bit of a stretch.
