What titles would you recommend for the following upper elementary school units of study? The units will be interdisciplinary but history-focused. I would like to pique student interest without being corny or cliche.
I hope my question complies with your subreddit rules. Thank you for the help!
EDIT: Added units.
You've got a tough challenge. Here's my suggestions:
I don't have any ideas for unit titles at the moment, but I do have a question for you. I'm wondering what exactly is covered in the exploration and colonization unit, particularly as it regards the Native American side of the equation. We get questions on how these sorts of topics are handled in elementary and high school from time to time, but I've been out of contact with the sphere of education for a long time so it would be good to hear from someone who has some current information.
"Making the Modern World" is the classic catch all, and would also layer the sense of a loose narrative onto the disparate topics you're covering.
