Some people I know seem to dislike/still hate germans (and Germany in general) for what happened. I know that not all of the Germans were pro-nazi. I would like to have some facts about it to prove that the Germans also suffered during Hitlers reign.

Can you clarify, are you asking if Germans suffered at the hands of the Nazi government or just in general because of the war?
There were definitely certain groups of Germans that would have suffered, German Jews, homosexuals and mentally disabled, for example, would have been persecuted quite horribly. whether or not the punishment was worse than what these groups endured in occupied countries I really can't say. As for the German public as a whole, which I suspect was what you were asking about, there was certainly a restriction of certain liberties, for example, you'd find it hard to get away with supporting any of the aforementioned groups publicly, and from what I remember (though I don't really have sources, sorry) it was quite easy for a lack of devotion to the German state to result in suspicion of even arrest. So in short, while the Nazi party wasn't actively preying on the majority of the population, there was certainly a restriction of certain freedoms.
