What time period are we talking here? Maori have only been in NZ for roughly a thousand years compared to the tens of thousands of years Aboriginal groups have been in Australia.
What groups are we talking about? The settled Northland Iwi that retained a more complete selection of the Polynesian technology package or the more nomadic Southern Iwi? Northern Aboriginal groups that maintained some contact and trade with Torres Strait and potentially PNG and Chinese traders or Southern Aboriginal groups that built and maintained vast networks of fish traps and retaining ponds?
What kind of technology are you interested in? The waka? tool making? jewellery and decoration? oral culture and the associated collation and maintanence of vast amounts of knowledge?
Do you care about the provenance of technology? Does it count that much of Maori technology was developed elsewhere or does it have to be homegrown?
