The armour is, overall, contemporary with Germany at the time, however, it's the scale mail (yes it's scale, if anybody doubts me I'll see if I can dig up the high res pictures floating around the Internet) that throws me for a loop here.
Also, the fact that it seems to be a transitional era between the center hinge and side pivot as well as early pigfaces/international styles of bascinets showing up here and there doesn't make it easier to pin one type of visor mounting (and overall shape).
So I turn to you, oh reddit historians, what aventail and what manner of badcinet would complete the vision of St George in a recreation?
And beyond that, I'm sorry, but I'm not having a lot of luck finding anything else. I'll keep an eye out, and if I come across anything I'll update my post. There's a lot of repro and re-enactor stuff online showing scale neck defence, and a few Eastern and Byzantine bits, but I'm not having a lot of luck finding a specifically German primary source from the exact period you're interested in. After half an hour of very basic research, I'm happy to say they probably used them, but if you want an absolute 100% guarantee, I can't give it.
Wait... just looked at the statue in question... that looks a bit later than 1376 to me! That's almost gothic harness, doesn't look like transitional 14thC at all! Where'd you get that date from?
