I recently saw the askhistorians anything posted in homework help and decided this would be a perfect place to come for help with my current paper. I am writing on the collective bargaining process in education (in Idaho specifically) my professor wanted me to focus more on the historiography of this, and include a bigger picture focus of the education in the US during the 60s, 70s and 80s. I am using a story from Nampa, Idaho to show how bad the old process was that led to teacher's unions gaining power like a snowball, and now legislatures and our own governor is attempting to limit the power of collective bargaining for teacher's unions.
I need help with incorporating a better historiography of what was happening with education as a whole in the US following the 60s throughout the 70s and 80s.
My professor said that I should section my paper, so I am in the middle of doing that at the moment. Not sure how the general flow of the paper reads at the moment though, it is very much a work in progress at this point in the day.

Questions about homework tend to get reported, so I thought I'd try to mitigate that by reminding everyone what the rule on homework questions is. It's not an outright ban. It does, however, encourage the questioner to have done some research before hand and have /r/AskHistorians do the assignment for them - and on the front, the OP seems to have done his or her part.
Also, /u/evolone1, it looks like you need to resent the permissions on your GoogleDocs so that anyone with the link can access it. Otherwise, people will have to request permission individually.
