I was wondering since this is a about critical historical place where questions are answered with good sources I though if anyone knew or can find good history podcast sites with good sources and notes .
My favourite popular history podcast is 'History Extra' which is produced by the team behind BBC History Magazine. They have in depth interviews with professional academic historians and others involved in the field (archeologists, curators, university lecturers etc.) pretty much every episode and they cover a huge range of topics.

It's three professional historians (Ed Ayers, Brian Balogh, and Peter Onuf) and they invite other historians to talk/contribute regularly!
While it might be an over-specialized podcast, New Books in History's interviews often examine history critically. The interviews are often with academic historians and they discuss their recent publications along with their research methods. Given that it is mainly academic books that get covered, the podcasts can be a tad unusual for a lay audience, but it is a good window into the world of a professional historian.
