I'm reading Alfred Price's The Spitfire Story.
A fantastic book about the history of the spitfire. Excellent excellent details. A bit too nostalgic at times, but I do appreciate that he is so damn thorough with his wing markers. Dude knows where the lights on the spitfires are.
I'm looking to learn some history for entertainment. I want to learn something that isn't very controversial and is fairly agreed upon. I'm thinking that I'd like to learn about earl 20th century history because grapes of wrath and the great gatsby got me interested in the time period and the movements in it. Can anyone recommend a book?
