I can tell you that Bataan Death March happened in 1942. Gen Akira Muto was charged for war crimes(1946) against POWs and Filipinos and executed Dec. 1948. The "One Shilling Note" is Japanese invasion currency for Australia. I believe made in 1942 or there after.
If those are actually what the labels say they are, you're holding onto some incredible WW2 relics; Most notably the cuff links of General Yamashita Tomoyuki, dubbed "The Tiger of Malaya". He was responsible for the successful Japanese invasion of British-held Malaya and the subsequent siege of Singapore during 1941-42. He also commanded the Japanese army in the Philippines during the campaign there against the Americans from 1944-45. If you watch any documentary about the fall of Singapore, he's sure to be mentioned in great detail. Take very good care of those artifacts, and perhaps even loan them to a museum if you'd like to.
