Isn't race almost entirely just a social construct? I also don't know if your original claim that black people haven't achieved stuff during history (or have done so less than people of other skin colour) is true. There were actual kingdoms in Africa, though I don't know anything about them. Wouldn't you consider the civil rights movement and it's success an achievement?

Even if it is true that black people have achieved less during history, it should be blindingly obvious that the fact that black people live in or come from (or their close ancestors came from) Africa Which is now the poorest, most abused, least technologically advanced, famine ridden continent on earth probably had something to do with it. Colonization and slave trade are to thank.
