While background detail on a question is always welcome, you're clearly trying to make a point here, which contravenes one of our few rules for questions. /r/AskHistorians is for genuine queries about history, not a platform to share your ideas or prompt debate. I would suggest reposting this with more neutral wording, e.g. "Where did the Gundestrup cauldron come from?" – but only if you're actually interested in historians' answer to this question, not putting forward your own.
