My grandfather found this book which he believes has to be of religious context. Neither of us have a clue what it says and cannot find anything on line. Is anyone out there able to interpret it? I am of American natures and speak/read only English.

German catholic hymn/prayer book.
Could you provide us with the name of the printer? I ask since it says "Made in Switzerland" in the first pic instead of "in der Schweiz gemacht" (what you would expect if the book was made for strictly German audience).
My guess is that it was published for export to one of the German-speaking Amish groups in the US, but a name of the publisher would make finding out a lot easier.
