By euquak footing I meant that the Chinese and India economy was similar pre-1980s with India seemingly a big better than China at that time. Also how much does it have to do with the political systems each country has, and is it case of democracy vs captalistic socialism in developing states? (tbh I don't know what China is anymore :P)
Just pointing out to you that it may be difficult to get a truly adequate answer here since people aren't allowed to discuss events occurring in the last twenty years, and while China's meteoric rise started before then, events since then have certainly impacted both nations heavily.
