Theology aside, what name would a historical figure in the same date/societal/location/linguistic context as the biblical Jesus answer to or refer to himself as?

Does anyone have any academic or other "legitmate" sources for evidence? A Google search just brought up a bunch of religous sites, I want something more intelluctually supportable.

I don't understand your question. Are you asking for the name of a contemporary figure analogous to Jesus? Or the kind of title that Jesus or someone similar would refer to themselves by? Could you try re-phrasing your question.
