How historically accurate is the film The Imitation Game?

Short synopsis of the film: In 1939, newly created British intelligence agency MI6 recruits Cambridge mathematics alumnus Alan Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) to crack Nazi codes, including Enigma -- which cryptanalysts had thought unbreakable. Turing's team, including Joan Clarke (Keira Knightley), analyze Enigma messages while he builds a machine to decipher them. Turing and team finally succeed and become heroes, but in 1952, the quiet genius encounters disgrace when authorities reveal he is gay and send him to prison.

Obviously spoilers about the movie follow.. It has drawn quite a bit of criticism for its inaccuracies especially by the British press. The scenes at Bletchley Park just get lots of things wrong. There was no tense interview to start his time there. He had worked with them before, and started the first day of the war. There was no belief that his efforts weren't working, and unless they showed results they would be shut down. Turing's designs were built into a computer by a tabulating machine company, not him connecting wires alone as shown in the movie. There are many more changes in the movie beyond this.

One of the interesting things that has come from the discussion of the movie is that the official story that Turing committed suicide has been called into question. Or questions about his suicide have become a lot more well known. Some theorize that he actually died of inhaling cyanide fumes from an experiment.

Could I ask a follow up question? In another thread about Turing, someone asserted that he was considered a security risk because, not only was he gay, but that he had engaged in sex with minor children. I asked for proof of this but the person never replied.

Is there any historical record of this? Or at least it being mentioned? Or is this just someone spreading nonsense (to what end I can't imagine).
