Agree, but with exception.

There is no absolute interpretation, save for a case that has been tried, appealed and validated. The next case in the same mold that comes along is open to a completely new interpretation, provided it doesn't carry the stain of corruption, politics or agenda.

We rely far too much on precedent as a means of justifying our laziness to re-examine that which should be looked at again.
