As a habesha Ethiopian, I would like to know more about my ancestors naval legacy. There's been many sources(http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Aksumite_Empire) stating that these aksumites had an impressive naval fleet and were able to control the Red Sea trade routes, and had contact with the Greeks, Indians and the Romans. They were able to also expand into Yemen and southern Arabia whilst having some economic hegemony in the greater Arabian peninsula. Yet I couldn't find any illustrations of these aksumites vessels that made these achievements possible. Are there any books that describe the aksumite naval prowess and the vessels themselves. i just want physical proof or authentic accounts.
