I'm finishing up with my undergrad degree in archaeology and history and am strongly considering continuing to a graduate degree in museum studies, however I'm still not entirely sure what it would be like and would love more information about the schooling and what it would be like to be a curator. You can either send me a PM or perhaps just reply in the comments so that other people may come across this and find it useful.
Also, during my time off I plan to do at least one curatorial internship but I'm also considering doing an online Museum Studies certificate program. Would this be at all useful/practical for me?
Thanks!

You can join us over in /r/MuseumPros. When you get there, look in the sidebar. We have some education information there. Regarding what it's like to be a curator, you might want to get some more specific questions about it.
Heads up, you are probably going to have to do more than one internship. I'm about to graduate with my MA, have done 4-5 internships and museum jobs, and I'm still not too hopeful about my career prospects.
As for the certificate, it all depends on what you want to do.
