I'm looking for English-language resources on the "lead" assassin, Raoulet d'Anquetonville. Does anyone know of some? Or just a quick recap of what we do know about him would be great too. Thanks.
He was a Norman knight with debts and a drinking problem, he died in the Lowlands without much of his promised wealth having been paid - but that seems to be all that is known of him. Admittedly I've only come across him in-passing through the account given in Richard Vaughn's John the Fearless: The growth of Burgundian power, (London, 1979), but you might be able to find more if you follow his footnotes (c. page 44)
