I have a different kind of question: I want to read Ibn Taghribirdi's "Nujum al-zahira fi muluk Misr wa'l-Qahira" and Ibn al-Athir's "al-Kamil fi'l Tarikh" on a college budget. Is there any way I can find these sources for relatively cheap?

I have been looking up Ibn Taghribirdi's "Nujum al-zahira fi muluk Misr wa'l-Qahira" (I read excerpts when I was an undergrad and thoroughly enjoyed his writing style) and Ibn al-Athir's "al-Kamil fi'l Tarikh" (to further my research on the Mongols in the Middle East) and from what I found, the former has books worth about $70 per volume (for 6 volumes) and the latter is about $90 for the complete work. Is there a way I can read these complete histories for significantly cheaper. Ideally, I want a book to put on my shelf, but I'm open to other sources as well. Thank you for you help.

Hi.. I don't know anything about these books. However, I live in Egypt, so the best I can do is ask how much they cost here. They might be cheaper. What language do you need them in?

Have you tried asking the librarians at your college?
