This is a bit of a vague question. While I'd love to answer this more I'm afraid it is so broad it's essentially meaningless. Could you specify your question in any way?

I never really get these questions, and theres quite a few of them. There is an underlying assumption in it that the Habsburg Empire shouldnt have survived, but somehow did, and you'd like to know why it did. My counterquestion is why do you assume theres any reason it shouldnt have survived until 1914, or beyond?
