A little context:

• My partner may end up getting a nursing job but we don't know where, hence the idea to go Online

• I'm interested in making enough to be able to have a decent life with some travel thrown in each year

• I already know I'm good in front of a class and that teaching works for me

• I'm a fiction writer with ambitions of getting published

• I'm open to the possibility of a doctorate down the line

Would getting the M. A. online be shooting myself in the foot or is it a solid option? Perhaps I should wait until I can devote two years to a brick and mortar?
