My family found an old letter from my great grand uncle, who escaped a German concentration camp (he was Jewish), fled east and got captured and placed in a Japanese camp. Could someone please translate it?

Letter from my Great Grand Uncle after release from Japanese camp written to my Grandfather in Brooklyn.

After escaping a concentration camp, he fled east and was taken prisoner by the Japanese where he was tortured daily. In 1946 he wrote this letter (all in German) and we're VERY curious as to what it says. We're hoping someone here at/r/askhistorians can help translate and maybe even give us some more historical context.

You should probably go to /r/translator instead. In addition you should take a much clearer photo (maybe in parts) since the texts are impossible to read.

Yeah we need a better image. All I can read is the date. Shanghai, September 14, 1946.
