Was wondering on the history channels miniseries sons of liberty how much was reality and how much was added in for drama? an example being the affair between joseph warren and the british general gage I believe that is his rank(could be wrong)

In this particular case, could you elaborate on "affair?" I haven't seen the episode yet (I suppose I will have to try to choke it down). Are they having a romantic/sexual affair?
