I plan to be doing a 15-20 page research paper this semester on the Yom Kippur War. In order to do this, I will need some good reading material. If any of you have any suggestions, I would be delighted.
On a related note, if there are any topics of particular interest to you relating to the Yom Kippur War feel free to post about them as well. I will look forward to reading responses.
I apologize for this lack of specificity.
My personal favorite is Abraham Rabinovich's book, appropriately named The Yom Kippur War. It's remarkably complete, except for an almost complete lack of information from the Syrian perspective. Rabinovich was able to get quite a bit from the Egyptian standpoint and the Israeli point of view, but he doesn't have much from the Syrian perspective.
Despite that, it's a smooth, understandable read, even if you don't have much knowledge about the war.
