I'd like to know more about how such posters were commissioned, where they were displayed, and any information about the artists.
A few years ago a number of these were auctioned off by Mercer & Middlesex. Wired magazine covered it and has artists names and some background for each of the posters auctioned. http://www.wired.com/2012/04/russian-space-posters-auction/
