I was wondering what demographic attended masses and Ordinaries in the Medieval ages? I'm trying to gauge the influences of church plainchant on the populace, but I can't find record of who would've attended. If you could point me in the direction of some sort of evidence to church attendance, I would be quite grateful.
When and where in the middle ages? Church ceremony and attendance changed significantly.
