What kind of uniform/armor, weapons, and general organization would the armies have during these times and how did they change as time progressed?
I would like to add a follow up question on imperial Chinese navies; how did they operate, and how did they change over time?
I understand that OP and my own question cover way too large of a period to be answered in detail, but any pointers in a research direction would be much appreciated.
