The Israelis, Egyptians, and Jordanians are often mentioned as major players during the war, but there is little mention of the Syrians. In particular, I am wondering about Hafez al-Assad and his role during the war.
If you have any books to recommend on the topic, I would be very greatful. I am particularly looking for the Jordanian and Syrian perspectives.
