Been looking into a big series or book that may cover this, maps would be great! I have a few books that cover these topics but usually skim over great lengths of time. Especially interested in Mesopotamia and the civilizations that existed leading up to the area as well as those formed after. Sorry if this is an extremely general question.
Have you checked out the book list? if you don't want a world history text book, you may be looking at several books. For the ANE, I would start with Van de Meiroop's a history of the ancient near east.
