So I ran across this image, http://imgur.com/T9oL29l , and I noticed the swatsika's on the poles are mirrored/reversed from the swatsika's on the flags, on every pole. Was it normal to display them like this? Is this an effect created by photography? Is it a blunder? I.E.: Why are they mirrored?
You are facing the back side of the poles. The swastikas are mirrored from our perspective, but not from the audience's. The banners are probably printed on both sides, so you don't see them mirrored from this perspective.
