I was watching Ken Burns' The War, and one of the former soldiers told a story about a German who knew really detailed info about the city the American was from in Connecticut. The German said he was part of an administration which would be responsible for governing America after the war.

Could there be truth in this? Did The Nazis have concrete plans for governing America? How much do we know about these plans/how specific were they?
