How would medieval warriors compare with modern experts of the same weapons?

I recently watch This video, which seems to suggest that archery is a "lost" art, that is much worse off today than it would have been in ancient times. Is this true of other weapons? Do any recordings or pieces of archaeological evidence suggest that medieval warriors could use other weapons better than modern experts?
