Are there any accounts of PTSD or battlefield trauma from and before the middle ages?

The handbook Livre de Chevalerie by the 14th Century Knight Geoffroi de Charney includes passages and references to PTSD-like tenancies and behaviours, such as a constant sense of fear, alertedness, and paranoia, both on and off the battlefield. Historians argue as to whether this can be classified as PTSD in some form, as the condition is a fairly modern idea and diagnosis. However, the book is one of the best period recordings of something which can definitely be argued to be symptoms along the lines of modern battle trauma and PTSD.
