If you have a specific question about a historical event or period or person, please feel free to re-compose your question and submit it again. Alternatively, questions of this type can be directed to more appropriate subreddits, such as /r/history or /r/askhistory.

This is not an acceptable question in this subreddit. Not for its subject matter, but because we do not allow "throughout history" or "in your era" questions in this sub. If you are curious about a specific era (and place) in time and how everyday life was, you are more than welcome to ask! Please also search for previous questions on this. :)
