A friend of mine sent me this link and in the article it lists this link from fbi.gov as one of it's sources. It looks legitimate to me but aside from this site and my friend I haven't heard or seen anything else about it. So my question is: Did Hitler really fake his suicide and live after the end of WW2?
Far out dude. He launched war on 3/4 of the known world and had people executed in cold blood based on anything from the colour of their hair to their religion. Then he started to lose and they marched to his door. Do you think there was a doubt in his mind as to what they were going to do to him?
He was probably wondering if they would skin him alive and leave him to die in cow shit or go to the effort of thinking of something a little more painful. The only way out of this was suicide, or apparant suicide. I highly doubt a man as motivated and cunning as that simply stops and jumps, it's possible but they don't really know. As far as I know the remains are nothing more than a skull cap. No dna evidence in those days. If he had the brains to conquer the world he probably had the brains to stage his death.
